The Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) Secretariat of the Ministry of Communications of Ghana is part of the eGhana Project by the Government of Ghana created to nurture the ITES/BPO industry through addressing obstacles and promoting changes that are needed to promote and sustain the BPO/ITES industy in the private sector to be gloabbly competitive.

ITES Secretariat is the executive ITES-BPO arm of the Ministry of Communications of Ghana.

ITES is well structured to facilitate the  fundamental role as a one-stop-shop for foreign direct investors  for the industry. Ghana offers very competitive advantages and has been identified as the preferred outsourcing destination in Africa.

The Government of Ghana is commited to the transformation of the services sector of the economy to become the largest source of employment and contributor to the GDP of Ghana.  These pursuits of the Government of Ghana are in line with the national ICT Policy blueprint which identifies the need for Government to promote the development of a regional competitive advantage in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry to enable the private sector meaningful support value added product and services development in Ghana's economic transformation.
